New Year message from the Most Worshipful Grand Master, Brother Tim Lord HDGM

The LOIE celebrates its 150th anniversary in this year of our Lord 2026 with many events planned for the coming year. Our celebrations as reformed Christians should be anchored in the sovereign Grace of Christ who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. This year;
• Trust in Providence: live in confidence in the Lord and trust his unchanging word.
• Defending the Faith: the LOIE will reaffirm its commitment to “Bible-based” Protestantism, standing firm against secularism and what it identifies as attacks on Christian living.
• Community and Charity: I encourage the continued support and commitment of our members to be a “powerful force for good” with your charitable giving.
• Fraternal Unity: support each other especially those who live alone from our Orange Community, renew friendships and build relationships within the Orange family, it is just as important to do so in the community in which you live.

As 2026 lies before us, we have many challenges to overcome. Not least because many in authority have little or any outward signs of steadfast faith in the reformed tradition.
But I say;
May this year be a blessed one, where every circumstance is sanctified by God, strengthen your faith and deepen your trust in his faithful hand. Be patient in trials, thankful in prosperity, and bold in him.

In 1807 at a meeting of the County Lodge of Lancashire was formed. The LOIE use the date of the 27th of February in that year as the reformation date of the first organised meeting of the Grand Lodge of England. We meet in annual session in the town of Corby this September. I give thanks to God that we continue the work of our forefathers. And stand as Orange communities the length and breadth of England.
